Is this you? Who SWS serves.

Smart WorkLife Solutions (SWS) serves a diverse population of individuals. Clients include business leaders, executives, middle managers, consultants, doctors, nurses, therapists, law enforcement, account executives, writers, stay-at-home entrepreneurs, new college grads, stay-at-home moms, empty nesters, retirees and more.

SWS clients are smart, committed to personal excellence and they are experts within their own area of pursuit. The expertise they lack is the ability to eliminate clutter, simplify routines, and/or manage some area of their life to get the results they want.

My clients have shared the following situations . . . do any of them fit you?

You have a room that’s out of control with clutter. There are piles of papers, knick-knacks, old clothes, and/or excess furniture. Embarrassed, you close the door when friends and family visit.

You waste time looking for files, important documents and other items. You look for materials and they’re not where you thought you left them. They’re not in the file and not in the stack of papers on your desk. You hope someone else might have a copy, right?

You don’t have enough storage or space to work in your office. You’ve tried putting things in order but you get stuck trying to decide what to keep and what to eliminate.

Your assistant is gone and now you’re lost. You relied on a helper to take messages, do filing, answer e-mails, and keep things in order…now he/she is gone. You have no clue how to find anything, much less do your work and his/hers.

You’re incredibly busy and hard working but not as effective as you could be. You get sidetracked with e-mail and phone calls, react to endless interruptions, and rush from one meeting to the next. At the end of the day, you’re mentally and physically exhausted and the priorities that needed your attention aren’t completed.

You’ve been accumulating things for years and now you’re faced with downsizing to a smaller space. You feel overwhelmed trying to sort through decades of memories and decide what to take to your new place.

Your life is chaotic. You take care of a home and family. You hold down a job. You worry and feel anxious no matter what you’re doing. You have no time for yourself. Nothing is working the way you want and you’re stressed!

You are in a career transition. You know there are self-help tools available on-line and in bookstores but you want personal feedback and support in your job search. You want help with your resume, preparing for interviews and/or negotiating a good salary. You could go it alone but you don’t care to.

Are you likely to be successful using the SWS approach to organizing your environment or life?

My clients typically share many of the following characteristics. If these fit you as well, you are likely someone I can help:

You know you have a problem. In the words of Dr. Phil, “You got to face it to replace it.” You accept responsibility for the way things are working . . . and you acknowledge they are not working very well.

You consider your problem a priority. No more procrastinating. Eliminating the problem is high on your list of things you want to do.

You are motivated to make changes. It’s one thing to want something; it’s another to do whatever it takes to get the thing you want. You are ready to devote your time and energy to get rid of the issue. You have no doubt you can accomplish whatever you want with the right support.

You are willing to experiment with new ideas and try new things. You like learning new things, especially those that can make a big difference in your life. You’re ready and open to try new approaches to old behaviors.

You view organizing and/or coaching as an investment in your future and quality of life. You’ve figured out the problem you’re putting up with doesn’t have to be a life sentence and the cost to remedy it will be well worth the peace of mind and dramatic, positive changes you will experience. You know you are the benefactor of this process.

You are committed to long term maintenance. Your intention is to make serious changes in the way you approach your work and/or life. Once you implement the solutions you’re not about to backslide and let your hard work go to waste. You will continue to practice new behaviors long after our work together is completed.

If you fit the profile above, you can be successful organizing your office, your home, and/or your life. Next, learn more about how Smart WorkLife Solutions works.
